Hi there. My friends call me “Free”. If you are exploring this website, you probably know me personally or have a friend that recommended you visit here. I don't do much advertising and prefer to organize groups by word of mouth
"Hummingbird Journeys" is my personal project to help introduce people from my culture to the ancient practice of Shamanistic healing and Ayahuasca.
My job is to organize and facilitate groups, and help guide them to the Peruvian jungle where they can experience ayahuasca in an intentional and authentic way, with true Shamans of legitimate origins. I bring these groups to Tierra Vida, a place dear to my heart, in the Ucayali province of the Amazon near Pucallpa, Peru. Tierra Vida is associated with some of the most well respected elder Shamans in the region. The last ten years serving as a facilitator there have truly been a blessing to me and to those who have joined me on this path.
With Hummingbird Journeys, you will be lodging at Tierra Vida Benxote, a Shamanistic healing center located in the peaceful tranquility of the jungle, on Lake Yarinacocha, about an hour from the city of Pucallpa. Our jungle lodge is owned with the Indigenous people of this region, the Shipibo. Our intent is to connect our guests with the natural world and ancient Amazonian traditional ceremonies. We are fully committed to the preservation of the Amazon…the Lungs of the Earth…with the life, plants, animals, and indigenous people that live in harmony with their jungle home.
